Science Park is a dynamic and engaging adventure into the science and beauty of nature. This 13,000 square foot outdoor park nestled directly behind the Don Harrington Discovery Center is a feast for the senses. With colorful vistas, unique destinations and big bold experiments, Science Park awakens the curiosity of visitors in a natural setting.
A large construction area provides space for creative play, while a linked set of water tables invites experimentation with locks, dams and plumbing systems. Visitors can become the center of a giant sundial and mix splashes of colored light created by overhead “trees.” Throughout the park, landscaped elements provide space for physical play and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
