The Enchanted Physics Forest is a permanent outdoor exhibition that provides a half-acre of new experiences for families. Hands On! is thrilled that our project group includes famed "Pluto Killer" Dr. Mike Brown, an astronomer from CalTech and board member who is leading the Kidspace team. Together, we are creating an exciting exhibition that will give kids and adults alike the chance to encounter physical science and learn through the pleasure of play. Wheels will roll, bottles blast and balls fly as visitors experiment with the forces that define the shape of our world.

The Enchanted Physics Forest will be a wondrous mix of the natural and the manmade, with large-scale exhibits nestled within a custom-landscaped woodland of majestic native trees. By locating exhibits in this dramatic wooded backdrop, we will create a space that elevates the spirit, encourages exploration and frees the imagination. Visitors will find themselves in a place that is neither museum nor playground, forest nor laboratory—a place where wonder and play lead to amazing discoveries.

Hands On! is currently completing final design, prototyping, evaluation and fabrication of the exhibition for an opening in June 2012. We're excited that we can provide Kidspace with this unique addition to its offerings and can't wait for visitors to be enchanted by science under the sun.

"Collaborating on the Enchanted Physics Forest with Hands On! is a delight. They magically transform ideas into a fabulous version of reality more wonderful than we had imagined."
