Bernoulli Blower

Use the power of pressure to levitate balls in midair.

In this engaging exploration of air pressure, visitors balance a ball in a stream of moving air. Illustrating the Bernoulli Principle, balls remain suspended in fast-moving air columns even when lightly pushed or tapped, supported by the pressure of the non-moving air surrounding them. The Bernoulli Station consists of four air nozzles mounted within a tabletop. One nozzle is adjustable.
